IMBintel is a project focused on providing data and intelligence on illicit massage businesses (IMBs) in the US. An IMB is a business that uses the guise of massage therapy to facilitate commercial sex. As such, there have been many cases of sex trafficking occurring in these establishments. IMBintel strives to eliminate all sexual exploitation in IMBs by providing actionable intelligence to law enforcement and NGOs.

In Project Takedown, we proactively find and investigate websites, social media groups, and individuals engaging in online sexual exploitation, and we report our findings to the appropriate law enforcement agencies and to the tech companies providing the IT infrastructure for these sites to exist.
